Main Functions and Rules of the Legal Rights and Consumer Protection Organisation
The Legal Rights and Consumer Protection Organisation works with a strong commitment to social welfare, protection of human rights, and legal awareness. Its primary goal is to promote equality, peace, and justice in society. The following functions and rules serve as guiding principles for all administrators and members of the organisation.
- To work for national peace and harmony by avoiding caste, religion, and communal conflicts, and to promote unity among people.
- To build a positive relationship between the public and the police, and support efforts in maintaining law and order.
- To create awareness among the public about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a drug-free society.
- To spread awareness about environmental cleanliness, hygiene, and public health.
- To promote the importance of eye donation and submit the list of willing donors to the government.
- To encourage religious harmony and unity among different communities.
- To create awareness about family welfare, population control, and healthy living practices.
- To support differently-abled persons, senior citizens, widows, and people affected by diseases, and help them access government welfare schemes.
- To organise sports competitions in both urban and rural areas to encourage youth participation and talent development.
- To provide legal guidance and support to women affected by dowry harassment and domestic issues.
- To promote unity and welfare among coastal fishermen communities.
- To organise blood donation camps in collaboration with government doctors.
- To assist police authorities in night patrol activities to enhance community safety.
- To create legal awareness among the public and educate them about their rights.
